Dr. Ralf Schittenhelm appointed as the new Director of the Monash Biomedical Proteomics Facility

In January 2016, Dr. Ralf Schittenhelm was appointed as the new Director of the Monash Biomedical Proteomics Facility and succeeds Dr. Oded Kleifeld, who returned to Israel at the end of last year.

Prior to his arrival at Monash University in 2012, Ralf completed his PhD at the University of Zurich followed by a post doc at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). It was during his post doc that Ralf honed his skills in proteomics working alongside the likes of Rudi Aebersold.

Ralf is looking forward to this new role and is very interested in meeting anyone who wishes to apply proteomic-based technologies to address their research questions.
